General Questions About Construction Estimating
Have a different question? contact our estimators.
What is a construction cost estimate?
A construction cost estimate is a detailed forecast of the cost to build a project, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, general conditions, overhead and profit, prepared from drawings and specifications.
Why should I hire a professional estimator?
A professional estimator improves accuracy, saves your team time, reduces the risk of missed scope and helps you bid more projects with confidence.
Who uses your services?
General contractors, subcontractors, developers, architects, engineers, owners, lenders, suppliers and homeowners.
Where are you located?
Our office is at 314 N Caldwell St, Charlotte, NC 28202, US. We serve all of North Carolina.
What is the difference between an estimate and a quote?
An estimate forecasts probable cost; a contractor’s quote or bid is a price offered to perform the work. Contractors use our estimates to prepare their bids.
