Quality Assurance Policy
Every construction estimate we deliver passes a documented, multi-point quality review by a second estimator. Here is exactly how we check our work.
Answer First
How Do You Make Sure Estimates Are Accurate?
Estimating errors are rarely dramatic. They are usually small: a missed sheet, a wrong scale, an omitted specification section or a formula error. Our QA process is designed to catch exactly those mistakes.
QA Checklist
Our Six-Point Quality Review
Document Check
Confirm drawing set, revision dates, specifications and addenda before takeoff.
Quantity Verification
Spot-check key quantities against drawings and alternative calculation methods.
Pricing Review
Compare unit costs with current data and flag outliers.
Scope-Gap Review
Check that every specified section and trade is covered or excluded in writing.
Arithmetic & Format
Check formulas, extensions, totals and markups.
Final Sign-Off
A second estimator approves the estimate before delivery.
Our Guarantee
If We Make a Mistake
If you find an error in a delivered estimate that is attributable to us — for example, a measurement or calculation mistake — tell us and we will correct it promptly at no charge. Errors caused by incomplete or changed documents are handled as revisions, as explained in our Terms and Conditions.
We also track the causes of any corrections and use them to improve our checklists and training. See our full Our Estimating Process.
